Each time I start a painting my goal is to create a piece of art that I want to look at over and over again. A painting is finished when it hangs on my wall for a few days and I smile as I walk by it.
I work primarily with acrylic paints for a couple of reasons. I enjoy the challenge of getting the colors to blend before the paint dries, and I like the freedom to apply new layers while my ideas are fresh.
